8500-7 question

I have my bi-annual medical tomorrow and I have a 8500-7 filled out from my eye doctor. My question is do I pull this out as a last resort or should I give it to my AME at the start of the pysical.
I also have a another question because of my eye issues everytime I go into the office for a pysical my BP goes up. If it is over the XXX/95 mark can they give me some time to try to relax or is it a onetime deal and your screwed. Normally my BP is fine 125/80 to 85ish, but not at the doctors!

Thanks for the help!

I would tell the AME you have it filled out first "just in case" you don't pass the eye exam, but if you pass the eye exam then you pass it, you don't need the forum. My AME told me to try to do my eye exam without my glasses so I wouldn't have the "must wear corrective lenses" limitation.

Oh, and I do have the "must wear corrective lenses" limitation :nana2:

Show the AME the 8500-7 first, you should not have to repeat the eye exam if all of the components for the class of certificate have been completed.

As for the blood pressure, keep records of your home blood pressures and take them with you to the exam. It will help solidify the "diagnosis" of "white coat hypertension" in the AME's mind.
