737 drivers or anyone else with this callout?

On many cockpit videos I've seen the flap callout on the before landing checklist has varied from "30 green light" or "40/40 land". I'm familiar with the second one used, however not to sure on the first one i mentioned. Why is the callout "green light" included? I can see on the landing gear callout..but is their a visual indication with some sort of annunciator for the flap position?

Thanks,

Just a guess, but what they're looking for could be the LE EXT FLAPS green light shown here:

Or, it could just be another check to ensure that the gear is down. :dunno:

in the -88/90, we had a "position/position 'land'" callout.

"Forty (handle position), Forty (indicated), land (annunciator)"

Right on.

Actually, I think our flap dial was the same, except we had no 40 Flaps, only 30. Same LE lights, though.

That's exactly what we're looking for. Incidentally, we'd hope not to see that flap load relief light, as that would indicate you'd just overspread your flaps at 30 or 40 and they had run back home to a lesser setting. It's not hard to do with a heavy airplane in gusty conditions at flaps 40.

Thanks for the response! The 88/90 callout is exactly what i was talking about in my second example, thanks for clearing it all up!
