I have a private pilot client who needs to take the 709 ride. How do I sign them off? I understand there is not a "Ready for 709 practical" type of endorsement. But the client now flies on a Temporary Student Pilot certificate. Do I administer the pre-solo knowledge test and give the standard 61.87 endorsements?
Also what happens if the 709 ride is busted? Does it count against my first time pass ratio? Or more generally does go on my record in any way or form (Neither I nor FBO was involved in their training prior to the incident that led to 709)?
