I so agree. The vast majority of feds I have dealt with are good people and live in the real world. Then there is that 1% that are bitter they didn't make the airlines and/or think it is their mission in life to violate as many as people as possible. I guess they need to make themselves feel better.

The most violation happy inspector I know was an airline captain before coming to the FAA.
