hi guys. im 44 years old and my goal is to fly for the airlines. i just had a intro flight at my local flight school and im starting lessons next week the only issue is ive been convicted of multiple felonies ( battery, attempted murder, arson, fraud, possession of a substance (pcp) and 4duis, 2dwis).

this has all been from when i was younger. i served my time, and this is 10+ years ago. im clean now, but could this still wreck my chances?

Wow, those are some pretty serious convictions. Maybe get your PPL and run drugs out of Key West? Of course Im joking, glad you're on the right track but Id agree with Douglas, dont go into debt. I have a friend who had 2 DUIs, 2 drunk and disorderly charges. He's a good guy who had some bad luck and wanted to go the 121 route but reality said otherwise.

Why does your profile say you have 1100 hrs if you just took your intro ride?

What a waste of bandwidth. Has to be bait. If not, your chances are less than zero that you will ever be employed in any capacity as a pilot. I doubt even a ramp rat.

I'm 21 with no record and am worried about eventually getting hired after training. This is a good troll though...
