Interesting read. What surprises me is the fact that the pilot was there when the plane was fueled....

I believe the labels on the truck were worn and the nozzel was a smaller diameter because the wide JetA standard one had been removed to fuel a helicopter which wouldn't accept it.

I was just in that area a few days ago. It always weirds me out to see something like this and be able to know EXACTLY where that is, even if you don't know the area that well or live there. Peace to those they left behind.
