3-5 day Multi School

I'm not sure what your game plan is, but if you get your CFI first and then get the multi add on where you teach you can save lots of cash.

Here was my scenario: I get a 10% discount on the aircraft, didn't have to pay for flight instruction, and used my AOPA card to get a 5% discount on top of that. I ended up saving close to 800 bucks. I'm not sure if this is an option, but if you can put it off go for it.

You can do it accelerated anywhere you would like. I started mine on Friday and finished it yesterday (Tuesday). I would have been done on Monday if not for a scheduling conflict. Just like Eagle said, make sure you are instrument current. Not just current as far as the logbook goes, but current as far as a good scan and good knowledge of instrument requirements and regs. Also, read up on the systems of your aircraft, multi-engine aerodynamics, and the flows for each maneuver. You'll save hundreds in the air if you've already learned how to do it on the ground.
