I appreciate all the replies to this thread. I'm afraid reality seems bittersweet after reviewing the comments here. It's just not in the cards for me to move anytime soon after retirement, as much as getting out of California seems to be enticing. I'm not really interested into getting into the airport security aspect of aviation, 30 years plus of the strain of this type of work is enough for me, despite what my expertise may bring, and the political correctness of the TSA makes me want to throw up in my mouth. If anyone ever becomes aware of something at KONT that a guy like me would be able to do, I'd appreciate a message.
