27%?

Delta pilots offered a 27% raise, so says Bloomberg. Does this bring it back to pre BK rates?

That's 27% over four years. We lost 50% or more due to BK. no way in hell does that get us back to where we were in 2005 let alone where we would be today if we hadn't lost it.

There's more to life than just pay rates.
I can't like this enough!

I could be paid $3,000/hr but if there's no cancellation, no DH pay, no min guarantee, per diem is $.05, yada yada...that $3,000 doesn't mean much as that's all I might make in a month...

(Extremely exaggerated I know. Just understand the point)

and a whole pile of other nuggets that people don't place value on until they're gone....usually after a phone call to scheduling or an email response from a committee rep with a puzzled look on their face that says, "they never could do that before?"

More money, more time off. End of story.
Simple process here:
Code:
while True:
    negotiate()
    if more_money && more_time_off:
        vote(YES)
    else:
        vote(NO)
