Congrats!

The more often you go through airline style training the easier it gets. That makes me interested in how hard it is for guys that have been flying the same type for 10+ years to get through training when they move on.

Yeah, my sim partner was a new hire with very little actual IFR experience. So having to learn the company procedures and callouts on top of a new airplane and relearning IFR has been tough on him. But he's been studying hard so I think he'll make it.

I think that's how it is after you've done a few ifr rides in a few airplanes. My last 3 airplanes probably didn't require 1 total hour of outside the classroom studying.
You spend such a ridiculous amount of time going over things in class anyways.

Pretty much. But man, some of the new hires looked like they were going suffer a nervous breakdown.
