24 hours of aviation around the world

That looks pretty cool. Although two things don't seem to make sense. One, the northern continents are covered with snow, which is indcative of winter, but the polar north remained in daylight while the polar south remained in night which would mean that it's summer. Two, the eastbound traffic across the Atlantic flew in the same area as the westbound traffic across the Atlantic which would not be the case as eastbound transatlantic traffic usually follows the jetstream and the westbound transatlantic traffic stays to the north or south of the jetstream.
