Honestly, my mistake. Personally, I'm very not happy working this hard for this long, and I thought I read similar in your responses.
I actually enjoy the leadership and CRM aspects of being a captain.
Last year I was well over 800 maybe 860? But I don’t recall the exact amount. This year I had a line for 3 months September, November and December and those months were the best of both worlds. Since I kept it chill.
Next year I’ll probably be commuting to reserve or forced back to FO.

AMS is my preferred city over there. You'll notice I avoided CDG all year. Terrible place. But SouthernJets only flies to AMS and CDG!
Two more legs to go, but currently about 420 hours.
Do you guys really have to do this in every thread? How childish is alaska airlines? You could probably use a little more time in the right seat to be honest. And Imma tell that Captain to never deice on that trip and that Israel sucks.![]()
Looking forward to hearing about the next challenge!View attachment 87333

Still love this job; but hate commuting.
No flying in December for me…I decide it was time to take on the next big challenge….will report back in a few weeks, but for now…back into the books.
Happy holidays, my extended aeronautically inclined family.
Very much the same. I love everything I do, I just want to do half as much or less.
I'm still the plug, three years back. It's going to be years before I hold a line.
