Maintain radio contact with those entities. <br />•Collect pertinent information; quickly and accurately type information into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. <br />•Relay information in a timely manner to responding units. <br />•Effectively monitor multiple radio frequencies simultaneously. <br />•Answer emergency phones.<br />•Provide approved Pre-Arrival Instructions according to policies and procedures. <br />•Make required and requested notifications. <br />•Be professional and courteous with all customer interactions in person, on the telephone and on the radio. <br />•Control own emotions, not allowing emotions to interfere in sound decision making, especially during emergency events. <br />•Responsible for the successful operations of all CAD, telephone, alarm monitoring systems, radio, paging systems, weather alert systems and any other communications equipment found in the center. <br />
