Must maintain radio contact with those entities. <br />•Collect pertinent information and quickly and accurately typing it into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. <br />•Relay information in a timely manner to responding units. <br />•Effectively monitor multiple radio frequencies simultaneously. <br />•Answer emergency phones. <br />•Provide approved Pre-Arrival Instructions according to policies and procedures.<br />•Make required and requested notifications. <br />•Professional and courteous with all customer interactions in person, on the phone, and on the radio. <br />•Be responsible for own emotions and not allow them to interfere in sound decision making, especially during emergency events. <br />•Responsible for successful operation of all CAD, telephone, alarm monitoring systems, radio, paging systems, weather alert systems and any other communications equipment found in the center.<br />
