In North America they predict 95,000 NEW pilots over 20 years or 4750 per year . I just don't see how that's possible given there are currently only around 80000 Airline Pilots total in the US. 30K retirements , a little growth and then Canada and Central America make up the other 60K ?
Isnt this Grossly over-estimated ?

Keep in mind, my former company there is in the business of selling jets. Part of that is painting a rosy picture of world consumption and need.......

Seriously though, it'll probably be something close to that. The world is gonna get better, more people, more travel, until the matter transporter is finally created then I'll have to go back to certifying or waiting tables... maybe roofing.
