2012: How much did you fly?

That's brutal. I applaud your love of flying, I know mine is not that strong! Still, I envy your annual flight hours.......haven't checked my logbook, but I'm guessing it is half that, if even that much this year.
Thanks! But it's still just a job...

598.2, all flight instructing. I'll probably add another 40 to it by the end of the month. Looks like everyone had a fairly decent year, safe flying in 2013 to all of you!

I figured out how to make a map with my excel logbook. 500ish hours and I never went very far...ah the life of a CFI.

Going to be around the 650 mark by year's end - much of it instructing in 172's and Pipers, about 250 in the C340 and 180 or so in the King Air....

Total 716.3 with another 35 hours or so to fly yet this year.

I did 549.3 hours in the Dash 8-200 and 167.0 hours in the Dash 8-300. I much prefer the 300.

90,818 total nautical miles.

Longest leg was 2.7 hrs block to block.

Shortest leg was .5 hrs block to block.

650 hours in a few different Brazilian Jets for 2 different airlines. Longest flight = Montreal to Houston 4 hr 15 minute block.

Presently: 682:15

But I've got a 3-day Madrid and a 6-day JFK-LHR-BOS-LHR-JFK this month to go so it should be another 50 or so hours.

Ooh, and I passed my 10,000th hour as a U-Boat commander as well. Seggy BobDDuck

Which leg was 2.7 hours?

EWR-ORF a couple of weeks ago. I believe we were #40 out of EWR at one point, so it was mostly a ground delay. It was on a Saturday, so they were down to one runway for arrivals and departures due to construction.
