1st class medical duration

1st class medical was issued on 5/5/2016. I was 31 years old at the time. Does it expire end of May or June? The way I interpreted it, its good for the remainder of the month it was issued plus 12 more months. Thanks for the input.

Mine expires end Feb 2018. I turn 35 in Sep 2017. What should my renewal plan be?

(I let it become a class 2 then a class 3 to last the 60 months). I don't fly often.

It is a class 1 with SODA, so not going to apply for a lower class I think.
