Lemme know if you wanna hold a wiring party (sounds like you’ve got a great dude already tho)Just spent another few $$$ getting trinkets for it, like ADS-B, LED lights and a fuel totalizer.
In due time the panel will have an EFIS and Garmin 355 driving it.
I present my original panel in the 180:Nice 182!
Looking at piston singles from the 50's and 60's it seems like they hired a blind guy to drill the panel cut outs and then just picked the instruments at random as they came out of the box for installation. Scan? Real pilots take it all in once lol
Ah, must have been the “corporate” package ... the clock is front and center.I present my original panel in the 180:

My favorite was always the vacuum gauge the size of a dime on the complete other side of the airplane from the vacuum instruments.Ah, must have been the “corporate” package ... the clock is front and center.
2’clock ... we’re goodMy favorite was always the vacuum gauge the size of a dime on the complete other side of the airplane from the vacuum instruments.
Those new little Garmin 355 etc are the bees knees. For the price of a used 430W you can get the GNC brand new unit with everything the 430W has except the vor/ils capability. Buddy of mine is putting one in his Cherokee driving a G5 HSI.Just spent another few $$$ getting trinkets for it, like ADS-B, LED lights and a fuel totalizer.

Yeahhhh the one 207 I redid the panel on I moved the vac gauge right next to the 6 pack. Probably didn’t matter in the long run but I felt better about it.2’clock ... we’re good
