172/172RG checklist/flows

Does anyone know of a website that has the 172 or 172RG checklist/flow patterns online? V-Speeds would be nice too. I'm going to be flying those planes when i get home this summer and thought I'd get ahead of the game and start studying up. Thanks.

Which model 172 is it? The V-speeds are slightly different between the Ns, Rs, SPs, etc. It's different for the RG as well, and you don't have to deal with that annoying Vle/Vlo in the non-retractable gear version.

If you want an informative (all beat it boring) read, you can order the POH on-line. Couldn't hurt to have at least run through it before you start training. Checklists are in the POH, but you can also order easier to read ones to have in the cockpit with you (normal ops on one side, emergency ops on the other). As far as flows go, make up your own. Once you know the checklists and the memory items for the emergencies, the flows are pretty easy to organize.

I'm actually not quite sure which models I'll be flying. I also know we just recently got 2 old air force versions of the 172 that have 180hp. I would go ahead and order the POH online, but I'm not exactly sure which model I'm flying and I figured they'd all be pretty close to the same thing. I have found a few checklists people have posted online and most of them look very similar in procedure to the procedures I'm using to fly the warrior right now.

If it's a 180hp, it's probably either an S, an SP or a 180hp R. I'd guess an S or SP, though. Don't ask me what the difference is, though. The only difference between the SP and a 180hp R is the weight. R models didn't have as much standard, and the seats were cloth not leather. The V speeds b/w the SP and the 180hp Rs are almost identical. As far as checklists go, with the exception of starting the fuel injected as opposed to the carburator airplanes, a Cessna is a Cessna.
