141 flying and 61 ground... need help

also I called to make sure, and my classes are considered part 61. personally, I think UVSC is a waste as far as organization goes. everyone tells you something different. sometimes I wish I would have just gone to lehigh carbon community college for my aviation degree :(

It might not seem like it now, but those cross-country hours will make you a much, MUCH better instrument pilot. Look back on it in another 500 hours and you'll agree.

And I'm sorry your so unhappy with the online courses. Hang in there! :(

it's kind of an interesting program, you can do the degree online and the flying at one of the approved schools around the country.

I'm doing my MBA online at the university of CO and it's freaking hard to get anything done though

yeah but the online portion is part 61... which is why I posted the original question.

overall, i'd do the ground in a classroom setting if I did it again. but there are no 4 year aviation degrees around me so that was my deciding factor. and UVSC is not any better than any other online thing... it's hard to get things done when you get video course worksheets sent to you when your taking an internet class..... or the wrong books altogether. happened to me more than once and i've had to drop classes because it was over a month into 2 classes by the time they got me the correct stuff sent out.
