Why not, we have plenty of money to throw around - not. With a statement like, "At JetBlue we recognize it takes more than mood lighting to create a comfortable flight experience, and that's why our successful formula offers award-winning service and free amenities, including a free first checked bag and the most live entertainment in the U.S.(b)," it's an obvious shot at Virgin America.
Since it's only good for today I guess the idea is it's enough of a crazy price to create some buzz, but hopefully the offer will be gone before too many people can take advantage of it.
