Do 121 PIC's and SIC's need to abide by the Part 61 day/night landing currency and 6 month instrument currency requirements? Thanks!

PICs yes.

SICs never need to be passenger current.

Instrument proficiency its taken care of at their six month recurrent training.

Both PIC and SIC need to have 3 takeoffs and landings every 90 days. Night/day currency is not discriminated under 121 (i.e. if you only do 3 day landings, you are considered night current as well)

The instrument qualifications (if you, for some reason are blessed with perfect WX for 6 mos) are rolled into the recurrent training/checking events.

What if your airline has gone to AQP with only 1 annual event?

I would love to meet an airline pilot who wasn't instrument current or landing current. Especially a regional guy.

Easier to find in certain segments.

..but not this guy. I snagged my landing for the month on my RSV line on the 2nd line flight. Like a Boss...

Oh hell, I'm chasing around landing currency all the time. Instrument current? Only reason I'm Part 91 instrument current was due to a hold I did in May.

Holding? Shoot...just fly up in the Newark area for awhile. You're bound to get lots of that especially when the weather gets bad. They'll happen so fast, you'll be 3 NM from the fix and be like,"What the heck?".

My airline is doing an event every 6 months for SICs. But if your airline only does it once a year, what do u do if you dont do a hold in 6 months ?

Holding isn't a requirement for basic 121 currency, so it's a non-issue.
