$12,000 signing bonus Saab 340 pilots

The $12k "bonus" is likely after training and 6-12 months online.
Less than half of them will make it that long before bailing out.
Proves that this pilot "shortage" is only temporary.

How does it prove that? If anything, it proves it more real to me. The pilots are moving on to bigger and better things, 'ta hell with the bonus.
 
Does Silver have any more 1900's left or are they an all Saab fleet now? How many airplanes and pilots at Silver? It's hard to gauge where Silver is at.

If it was a REAL raise, like a real salary increase, then it's a pilot shortage.
A hiring (and training completion) "bonus" is a band aid aka short-term solution.
