We did once in Skagway.I would have to agree, even better than having a Johnson bar. Also landing flat seems to work better than a big nose high flare.
You guy get wind up there?

Not sure if the fun part is supposed to be facetious but I've found the Garavan to actually be the easiest plane I've ever flown to get nice smooth wheelie crosswind landings. Something about that huge spring steel gear with 29x11s and the ability to drop it into beta as soon as you get the upwind wheel down to help you stick makes it really nice when the wind starts kicking.
Nah, mostly flying a Navajo with a smattering of Garret Caravan.I had a few interesting ones - probably more me than the airplane. The box felt like wind sail to me in a stiff crosswind. It was usually a pleasure to land. There have been more than a few "am I on the ground?" landings and also a few "yeah, I on the ground." Are you flying the GA10?

Ohhhh got it.I confused you in context with 'ScareVan' meaning the Airvan, the GA8, which I have been flown a bit of.
