FDA... is that something sexual?
Foreign domicile assignment. Cologne or kong. I'll put it that a really "good" source asked the hiring folks about the TPIC change and evidently it's to scoop down to FO's who are flying the 75/76 elsewhere and are willing to go to Hong Kong where they are bringing the 75/76 to swap with the Airbus. The FAA didn't grant an exemption to operate green on green as Fdx already has multiple 75/76 bases (MEM/IND). So guys who have 75/76 time and are willing to go over to kong have an edge. Supposedly for those without 75/76 time the 1000TJPIC is still a big key to getting a call. Time will tell as they run through the latest window of apps if the line drops out of the 1K that they have historically wanted.
Hey,
Have you gotten a call/interview? Or already at FedEx? SSP? Or...?
nope. Just getting back into qualification after being out of flying status due to a medical issue since December.
And what if your answer is no to both?JetBlue does ask in the full application if you have 500 TPIC. Similar to how they ask if you live near one of their bases.

Welp, I'm not qualified for jetBlue.![]()
Back when your current employer was the only place hiring, there were a whole lot of USAirways FOs, with 10,000+ hours of airbus time who didn't mean the mins for VX.

(I seem to remember it was 2 hours when last I applied)
Is this still requirement for major airlines?
