All jobs taken collectively, I wouldn't doubt the figures posted for mechanic.
3 years ago, before the economy really started to slide, I still only grossed around $36,000/yr.
Now, I'm sitting at $27,000/yr, and even have all the ridiculous ASE's.
Would you believe there are even 2-year schools that, for a price, can "qualify" you for such prestigious income?
I'm not too proud of my pay, but I didn't spend $40K to get it. I am thankful for that.
