At night lansing can be incredibly slow and just like RD i call them several times a week they know our tail numbers and a majority of the time their very helpful i've never had them ramble on about NOTAMS they usually ask before they give you the list well at least here. but sometimes it a real inconvenience to have to talk to them, mainly because they do love to put people on hold for long periods of time occasionally.

A lot of the time, depending on reception, I'd have to call "Casper Radio" and my only complaint was I'd wish they'd just shut it and give me my clearance and skip the 'There are SIGMETS for icing, etc' BS.

How often do you fly with pre-solo students? I also see you removed your sig.... your stories seem a bit advantageous....

No sig? That's odd! I have to textaroo the D man!

I've flown with a few students I've known. On this case, this was just a joke, considering it was a Private Pilot an had about the same time as me. He landed on the nosewheel, and almost busted every tier of the ORD bravo. He also fought my control inputs when I tried to correct him. If you want to see a link to my logbook, send me a PM.

I know alot of people trash them but my experience has been fine with them with zero complaints. I DO feel is someone is being rude or nonprofessional it is our responsibility to let them know.

I know they are pretty bad, but it was still phrased as if you were a CFI. ;) I can get to your logbook through your sig :whip: (I just had to use that emoticon)

In the control tower they transposed a C310 and a C130. How you can file a C310 at FL310 on a refueling track was beyond me. Oh well. Sometimes they didnt understand local and zulu time. We would file a lot of VFR and IFR flight plans after they had been lost. Lowest bidder..
