When does it expire? Checkride time coming up. . .and wondering if I need to go pick up the 07 FAR/AIM for the big day? I know i know. . . I'll need a current one anyways, so just go get it.

But nevertheless, the broader question is: When does a 20XX FAR/AIM expire? A year?

FARs don't expire, they get updated. These updates are valid as soon as they're issued. you could still keep the 06 one as long as you get the updates! the whole 05 06 and 07 thing is to spend your extra money :whatever:
