PA-31 carrying 4 crashes off New York, 2 bodies recovered

@skypilot6 stay tuned to this one. If memory serves, you flew one of these up there for a little bit.

Van driven by airline employee falls out of Florida airport parking garage

"Out of an abundance of caution was taken to a local hospital" for a drug screen and breathalyzer.

    Post First Solo Hangover

Like @Cessnaflyer said. Go do a cross country, then bring them back to airwork. If that doesn't work, send them up for a lesson or two with another CFI. You may be missing something obvious, and another set of eyes might help.

    C182RG real world $$ Numbers

That's honestly a lot less than I expected for a retractable single.

FAA Could Put a Massive Hurt on Boeing 787 This Week

Have any idea of how many? That's pretty impressive! It also looks like the 78 makes up a large portion of their fleet.

FAA Could Put a Massive Hurt on Boeing 787 This Week

Even if they did, at the cost of swapping engines, I bet it's not economically viable.

10 arrested @DFW for smuggling items on planes.

It's far easier to be nice than it is to be an ass. Just saying.

    Few months maybe.

ERU has a full motion sim?

You think that stall was intentional?

    Objective vs subjective.

10 arrested @DFW for smuggling items on planes.

Yes. You can't use a SIDA access point if you are a crew member in DFW. You must go through security, either regular blueberry molestation, or KCM.

10 arrested @DFW for smuggling items on planes.

Huh... some went to New Mexico. I figured Walter would have that place on lock.

    More Audits for Allegiant

So those Seham boys pretty much just go after airlines, and extort money it appears. They have multiple videos, from just about every carrier about this issue.

    More Audits for Allegiant

Curious, and strange that American was a part of this.

    Flight training

I did the career change at the same age. It's a hard road to hoe, but worth in IMO. If you do decide to switch, you need to commit to it 100 percent, especially if you finance it. It's expensive. And before you do commit, go get a few hours under your belt. Take a few lessons first.

    Twin or Single

If you aren't worried about cost, two engines are always better than one. To the point I'd rather have a Twin Comanche than a Bonanza.

    Commutable?

CASS doesn't necessarily mean reciprocal agreements with other airlines though.

Officially the end of an era, for me...

Sounds like it sucks, but it doesn't? I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

Cops called on woman over flying "fat and black"

I'm sure her stuffing her camera in her seat mates face had nothing to do with it. Do that crap to me, and you'll be needing a new phone, and I don't care if I'm the one who will have to buy it.

    Advice from the crowd requested

Seven weeks of training? I'm assuming that this would be at FSI or CAE? If you've already had offers, why? What useful purpose would it serve? Personally, I wouldn't.

Ha! You're such a Richard Cranium. I see what you did there.

    Delta's success with the B717

I don't like it in back. My knees always seem to be in the seat in front of me.

    Delta's success with the B717

If the 717 was still in production, the regionals would be hosed. It fills a market sector that still hasn't been matched.

    Star Marianas Questions

:ooh::ooh::bounce::bounce::bounce: "Plus tips". The US is one of the only countries that does tip. I hope they leave their pilots enough time to have a job that pays more than meal expenses. Living on the Islands isn't cheap. Rooms/apartments are cheap because everything else is so expensive.

Officer fired for dragging Dr. David Dao off United flight sues airline, Chicago

When he doesn't follow a crew members instructions, it becomes a legal issue. When he gets off the airplane, and gets back on after being told not to, it also becomes a legal issue. Mr. Dao should be on a no fly list. He refused to follow an officers command, then resisted. Take your claims...

So after a 3 year break, thinking about returning to the airlines.

Just curious, why SkyWest? What's drawing you there over everyone else?

    Regional cadet programs

Don't sign anything, don't take any bonus money, and wait until you're there to make a decision. This is just a way to try and limit you to not having a choice on where you want to go. Just my $.02

Operators with bases at KCM airports

The picture matches the badge matches the bar code, matches the green approved KCM linky thing. Buuuut, they want to make sure that you didn't hack the system, steal a badge and edit it, and coerce the other crew members to shut up and just go along.
