    CFI Binder and the ACS

I would - for the Private ACS. It is not much different, however incorporating the risk management when teaching from the lesson plan would look good for the applicant, I feel. For maneuvers that are both in the Private ACS and Commercial PTS, I mention both standards and differences for...

    Piedmont Airlines CLT -1985

Also found, BWI hub operations. You can see some aircraft wearing the Henson Regional brand on Beech 99s, Dash 7s, and Shorts 330s. Also a Fokker 100.

    Cheating on FAA written exam

Out of curiosity was the report made after the proctor had found that it was a calculator or before? Who was 'they' that only saw the calculator?

    I took the FI-A written today (9/6/16)

Thanks for the write up - I am just getting ready for my FIA written. All those seem familiar with Sheppard Air software, I think their blank is 651 questions.

    Best headset for a CFI?

Yes - I have my issues with Clarity Aloft (mostly the earplugs) but I think in ear is the best. Nearly any headset you wear for hours on end is going to get annoying, but I'm used to the top ear rub after a year plus of using them. But its light and barley noticeable day in and day out. I...

Thirteen Colorado Skydivers Jump from Burning Plane

@Cptnchia how many jumps do you have? The DZ keeps trying to get me to jump but I've yet to. (semi-related note - one of the DZ jumpers is an Olympic athlete, going to the semis tomorrow!)

Right? Glad he was able to get them out and bring it around. It is a constant calculation driving divers, especially single engine.

What is the gouge on the ART program for USAFR after UFT?

I had not really considered that. I would probably be faster on the AMC side anyhow for the simple reason that they fly more. I mean they have you there full time at that point, what is the incentive to have them fly you more? Then consider appropriations as well as budget cuts, but we need...

What is the gouge on the ART program for USAFR after UFT?

That makes sense. This whole thing just adds some more questions and I wonder if it will be more 'flexible' with what they are wanting, as in certain new benchmarks created to make it worthwhile. Of course - probably squadron dependent, 200 hours might take a year at one, and two years at another.

What is the gouge on the ART program for USAFR after UFT?

Yeah - usually I am more eloquent but IDK suffices this news, both pro and con. Might as well go AD at that point, unless you are dead set on a specific location, as in a unit the individual is working with. But again, the applicants desires overall. As far as I know, this has not trickled...

    Multi Add On

I would say yes. The mill I went to (not really derogatory - I thought Action did a great job) was a fast but through program to where I can still do flows without a second thought. Proficiency speaks to the competency of the pilot more so. I suppose it hinges on the pilots learning styles...

    40th anniversary: Raid on Entebbe

Yes - its a matter of integrity. Certain portions are placed in between his own words without properly citing a source, which does make it seem that it is an intentional practice to manipulate the readers opinion of how he writes. It is poor form at least, but still plagiarism.

Anybody been hit with a laser beam?

To the OP - yes, I have. @bucksmith a friend and I did the same thing, we relayed the address that my friend got from google maps while I flew to local PD and circled. So at 2000 feet working a pattern over the house a helo comes in at 800 and does the same then lights the house up. We break...

First person to earn certificate action for drone operations.

While he owns the LLC its not clear whether or not he was operating for hire. It doesn't help for the purpose of inference, but I have not read the police report or anything from the investigation that led to this enforcement action by the FAA.

First person to earn certificate action for drone operations.

The point is - did he need to file a NOTAM? And it not being in the Bravo, so what if he is under a Mode C veil?
