Flew to STT a few weeks ago, there was maybe like 2-3 knots of tailwind landing on 10. Did an an autobrakes MAX landing. Anyways, it was definitely longer than 4 hours after that experience and no, I didn’t see a doctor.

The 757/767 is not the 737. We don’t have landing speeds approaching the sound barrier. We also have twice the amount of main gear wheels, and thus brakes, as the guppy. A fairly heavy 757 landing at Autobrakes 3 barely warms up the BTMS. We use AB3 all the time on this fleet at widget.

Best I can offer you is a 300 foot long 737 with bigger engines. -Boeing Management-

Funny because it’s true. At MAC, they kept our last few booted 208s in Fort Lauderdale and San Juan until they were eventually retrofitted with TKS.

The TKS equipped birds we had at MAC were quite capable. Kept the wings nice and clean. Never had the displeasure of flying a booted van, thankfully.
