I would guess for efficiency. You can park airplanes a lot faster when they can power in.

All the large freighters load that way. From my understanding it is to keep it from tipping during loading and unloading.

Not exactly. It's a faster delivery than the new 777 freighter, it has the largest cargo door from what I understand, and it's good to diversify the fleet with everything happening at Boeing. Plus there might be customers that would prefer the A350, so it opens up the door for more customers.

Our crews rarely stay together, so once we land we all split up. Often you're the only crew member in that city. I end up slam clicking a lot.

This last trip I had a day where I was supposed to fly Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam, then drive to Liege. Well apparently Amsterdam can't handle snow, so we ended up diverting to Liege. Saved me from a 3 hour drive.

The Air Beachball guarantee is 64 hours, and I rarely break that. We just opened contract negotiations and we're all hoping that gets fixed.
