Denver - about an hour ago. It actually hit the ramp

It may not seem like much from a screenshot or two, but getting away from constant urban noises, hums of tires on roads and that godawful background shout of oneupping into earbuds...Even for a quick walk around the MA neighborhood...Just does wonders.

Only the chirps of a robin or two following us around this pond pathway, and some leaves rustling as the curious chipmunk scurried away behind us. This is just north of BOS, up in Middlesex before the highways get too too loud.

Caught the Aurora the other night just out of NY. The bright green are LEDs from the battery pack on the headset - didn’t realize they were reflecting at the time.

I know it’s old hat for some of you but it still hits my sense of wonder when I see it.

Hey fellow camera nerds, I has question as I've lead myself down quite the rabbit hole. I've been shooting with an RX10iv for a couple of years during my trips but have kind of fallen out of love with it. Its been a fun camera but I'm missing low light performance and the fact the size of it draws attention as I'm getting more into proper street photography.

My 'main' kit is Fuji with a suite of lenses which I use for landscapes and my main travel kit for bigger non-rev adventures. However, I'm leaning toward joining the FF Sony crowd with the a7C II as I like the size and performance of it. Naturally, I'll need to rebuild my lens collection a bit but would plan to keep both Fuji and Sony as I think having both could be handy. Especially for Milky Way chasing.

Basically, for my weekly carry I'm looking for a compact, weather sealed and high performing body that'll check more boxes than the RX10 does now. Lastly, since I'm already invested in Fuji I thought about just using the X-T3 weekly and finally buying the X-T5 so I don't have to invest in fresh lenses.

Anyone else been in a similar dilemma? I'd likely start with a couple of primes for the a7C and not get carried away. But who knows. Already been bugging @Screaming_Emu with my thoughts but I'll give him a rest ;)

holy cow. this is amazing. How'd you get this shot?
Thanks! Was enjoying a cold beer in the backyard last night and noticed DEN arrivals were doing a right downwind from the north. Saw one bird pass through the rising moon and quickly ran inside to grab the good camera. Fuji X-T3 with the 100-400m lens and a 1.4x teleconverter on. Basically 520mm of zoom.

Bit of a crop, sharpening and bam!
