It is nice to see airline pilots go out of their way to answer questions us noobs have

Today there was a group of Alaska Airline pilots doing some CBT at the schools aviation building today. Some of my classmates and I were sitting around doing homework and were stumped by one of the questions. So we asked one of the pilots, who turned out to be a training captain, and he wasnt sure what the answer was. Instead of just saying he didnt know, he called dispatch in Seattle and ended up talking to the head dispatcher there. Eventually they were able to answer the question.
It is nice to meet people like that who go out of their way to help people.
