PEPC Interview Questions Here

I'll have to recheck this daily and study up on questions and my awesome responses. Sorry your stuck half-way across the country! I'm in OKC now for Allegiant!

(On that note...)
Oil Change: $18.75
Fuel: $212.48
Hotel: $47.38
Dinner: $6.00
Turnpike Fees: $20.00

Seeing well-qualified results: Priceless.

That's so AWESOME! I thought I bombed the ATSAT, I mean BOMBED IT! It brought a tear to see WELL QUALIFIED! WOO HOO!!!

ADD:

How do you deal with Stress?

My answer- I turn the autopilot off and try to make people pray more. Always brings a smile to my face!

This was the only question I was asked, the rest of the time we talked about our alumni for 45mins. Big rivals!

I was on Chicago yesterday for my PEPC. Most of the questions were the same as first posted, but they did throw a curve-ball question in there. I just wish I could remember what it was...dang it...

I had an underage consumption of alcohol charge when I was 19 (4 years ago). Anyone think that is going to be a big deal at my PEPC?

hard to say, but probably not a big deal
You may be asked to fill out a statement about this incident. Be prepared to bring any court documents with you to the PEPC.

Each case is looked at individually, and it's even possible that your outcome COULD depend on the facility location. (A regional office in charge of your area is the one that looks at these special approvals, not the PEPC people)
Also: could be more of a factor for en-route guys since they have slightly stricter standards on account of national security

No matter where you are in this process, everyone needs a little peace

For real; some people are putting up timelines of everytime they took a breath.

Ya'll have to realize that some of this speculation is about things the FAA does not even know, or has not even planned.

PM,
What was your score on the at-sat? If you don't mind me asking.. Im from the bay area too. Which facility did you choose?

What is a "non-PEPC route"

Thanks.

At a PEPC, you do your interview, medical, security, psych, and get your TOL all in one day. The non-PEPC route means that the person did not attend a PEPC and is completing each of those individually. Non-PEPC route seems to take a bit longer from what I've seen here... I think the only plus is that you don't have to travel to a PEPC location (take a few days off of work, pay for a flight or gas, etc)... I think other than that the general consensus is to go to a PEPC if you can.

Yes if I indeed get selected with my 84.3 then I will go the PEPC route.

Well I'm hoping that the fact that I'm almost finished with my dispatcher certificate and that I'm a student pilot will help out. Iono though.

At the PEPC, is the person who interviews you from your facility or just some random FAA guy/gal?

What types of answers did you guys/gals give to the questions about stressful situations where you did and did not succeed and how it affected you?

I have lots of work and school experiences to draw on, however none of them are even close to the stress level relating to ATC. I am just curious what types of situations everyone else used as examples to answer such questions. I would like to have some responses in mind so I don't sit there like an idiot thinking of something.

Now that the PEPCs are coming up for PUBNAT2 I figured this thread needed a bump anyway. Thanks to all that have contributed to this thread so far.

on the security investigation...

will they be able to see all employers i worked for? even any i didn't list on the original application? it never said to list all places of employment, only enough to satisfy the work experience.
