Official PUBNAT2 "Initail Contact Email"

This is a snippet from my email...

"...You have been identified to interview for an en route air traffic control
position. You will be contacted by a representative of the Air Traffic
Organization around the end of October 2008 to schedule an interview or to invite you to attend one of the Preemployment Processing Centers..."

I chose both for my options. Selected CA & WA for geo prefs.

I'm sure you can expect an email soon saying that it was supposed to be terminal that has happened to alot of people...

I second the theory that the En Route emails are still to come. This is following a very similar formula to the PUBNAT 1s. Only they got mostly En Route emails first, then the terminals.

With PUBNAT 1, there were a few emails at 3:00 on Thursday, and then batches of emails on Friday at 9:00, 10:30, 1:00, and 3:00 central time.

Trying to stay optimistic here.

I chose CA only and Terminal only. I got an email this morning at 7:30AM PST saying I was selected for EN ROUTE followed by a correction email stating I am TERMINAL. OKC offices are closed on Monday for Columbus day so don't expect much before Tuesday. :panic:

Another email came just now:

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the Patrick Henry International Air Traffic Control Tower (PHF) in Newport News Virginia.
:nana2:

There was more, but that's the gist of it.

Congrats Tiffany, hopefully the will keep you within Southern California, if that is what you want.

SO what time did the last e mail come in? Did they all get sent out in a group at the same time this morning, or are they trickling in through out the day.

I selected both positions for TX and GA and im yet to hear anyhting. Im to the point every time my iphone chimes with an e mail alert i jump. much more of this and i'll be clinicaly insane and wont stand a chance at passing the psych evaluation, all because of this application process. :banghead:

This was also in the email:
We have scheduled PEPCs for the week of November 17-21st in Kansas City, MO and the week of January 26-30th in Los Angeles, CA. All terminal candidates will be processed on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of those weeks. We will be processing approximately 50 candidates per day; therefore we may not be able to accommodate everyone at this time.

We will be scheduling PEPCs in February and March. If you want to attend a later PEPC we will let you know the dates and locations as soon as possible.

Same story as a few people before.
First Email @ 1430z for Enroute
Correction @ 1458z for Terminal

Prefs were OR & NC
Well Qualified

Looks like the correction emails so far are from the West region.

Well, I emailed someone in the HR at OKC and I got a response back. I was not selected...:(. Oh well...it is probably better because I just found out the my wife is pregnant with our second child...:rawk::bandit:. I can't justify a 40K paycut to go to the academy for 3 months anyways. I turn 31 in November, so this was my only chance.

Good Luck to all the others and you may be hearing from me on the radio when I am flying through your airspace. :nana2:

This is what i got guys:
"
Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the San Francisco International Air Traffic Control Tower (SFO) in San Francisco California.

The next step in the process is for you to decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer and if you accept which procedure you would like to use to complete your pre-employment processing. Your options are:

1. Pre-Employment Processing Centers (PEPCs). This is an expedited method of processing that includes your interview, security screening, medical evaluation, psychological evaluation and drug test. All of these activities are completed in one day (approximately 7 hours from the time you arrive). If you choose to attend a PEPC, please be advised that all travel costs incurred will be at your own expense.

2. “Traditional” Non-PEPC Process. This process begins with you being scheduled for an interview at an FAA facility location close to where you live. If you have successfully completed your interview and are recommended, the Aviation Careers Division will provide you with the information required to schedule the remaining pre-employment processing steps.

What you need to do today or not later than the close of business on October 20, 2008, respond to this email with the following information:

1. Decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer. If you decide to decline the ATCS position being offered, let us know. This decision must be in writing. If you want to discuss issues related to your future eligibility for other facilities, you need to contact the Aviation Careers Division at 405.954.4657.

2. Review your contact information provided above (name, address, phone numbers, email address) and provide any corrections or updates. If you have not updated your information in ASAP, you need to do so in addition to providing corrections to us for the interview process.

3. If you would like to attend the Kansas City PEPC, please let us know your date preference: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday - November 17, 18 or 19.

4. If you would like to attend the Los Angeles PEPC, please let us know your date preference: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday – January 26, 27 or 28.

5. If you would like to proceed with the “Traditional” Non-PEPC process, let us know and we will get you scheduled for an interview near where you live.

6. If you would like to attend a future PEPC, let us know and we will notify you as soon as the final details have been worked out.

We will acknowledge your response by return email. If you choose one of the PEPCs, we will confirm your reservation in that email. Another message will follow from our PEPC coordinator with your appointment time and additional information you will need, forms to complete, etc.

We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible and definitely by Monday, October 20. Remember: The earlier you respond to this message, the better your opportunity will be for attending the Kansas City or Los Angeles PEPCs.

Please let us know if we can be of any assistance. "

Were you terminal only?

NOTE: We are not authorized to release the facility you have been assigned so you will need to wait until you receive the tentative job offer.

I must've gotten a crappy location since they're withholding info from me!!!! :(

Just a quick note to those that did get the email. On the top right of the family record form all they want you to enter is your name. I called to ask and she answered my question before I really asked it. I just though I would let you know to cut down on the calls going in to them. Everything else is self explanatory.
To everyone that hasn't gotten one yet, stay optimistic.
