FAA friendly way to manage tension headaches?

I go through cycles with tension headaches, I haven't had trouble with them lately but I'd like to get something in place to manage them that is FAA friendly, since my PCP isn't an AME (but thinks he is, which is even scarier) how can I go about getting something in place that won't jepordize my medical? Should I just see a local AME or make some suggestions to my PCP for treatment options? I don't even know where to start but I don't want to be dependant on OTC meds and have to contend with rebounds either.

Buy an "over the door cervical traction device" from a medical supply company or drug store. Cost is about $30. Use 5# for 10 minutes 2 times a day.
