Official PUBNAT2 Referral List

Howdy all; my first post. I have a DoD TS/SCI clearance. Does that preclude me from having to fill out another SF-86? I'm convinced that this form is what Satan has in store for evil secretaries after they pass on, so any chance NOT to do it would excite me verily. Anyone know about this?

Unfortunately Yes... you will need to fill out anouther SF85 or SF86 depending on where you are going.... for some retarded reason, the FAA does not think that a DoD Clearance, regardless of what Level, is good enouph for them....

I have a friend that has a DoD clearance and he's been told that his clearance is practically useless outside his current job, unless he took another job that had dealings with the DoD.

Guys, we are talking about the government here...the right hand routinely doesn't talk to the left about things like this, so they just waste money duplicating things just because.
 
Hey all,

New to the forum, but I have been lurking around forever. I applied PUBNAT2 and also received notification via ASAP that I am on the referral list. I picked CO Terminal on my geoprefs. Scored WQ on the At-SAT. Hoping for Denver tower (lvl 12 :drool:).

Lovin' the waiting game thus far.... :banghead: Hoping to get picked! :hiya:

It's been a while since I've posted here. I applied to the Feb. Announcement and was passed by for an interview. I just made the referral list for the May aannouncement and am waiting for the PEPC annoucement.

Geo preferences where California (Southern & Central CA Counties) & Nevada, Terminal and Enroute (specified High Desert Tracon).

Good luck. I specified High Desert Tracon as my second choice with first being ZLA. Heres to you getting High Desert Tracon and me getting ZLA:rawk:

The next thing you should see/get is an email that you've been chosen for either enroute (with a facility) or tower (with a state) and that you'll be contacted for PEPC.

That's what I was really getting at. Outside A80 and ATL tower, terminal pickings in GA are a bit slim. There's the up/downs at Augusta and Savannah, then tower at PDK. IIRC, everything else is contract.

That's not cool...I mean, other that reading this Forum everyday, how else would the average person know that they can stop "waiting" to hear something?
 
Basically, if it is a week after the last person acknowledges hearing something, its pretty safe to say you weren't selected.

I applied for another job (not ATC related) with the FAA last March and April and it wasn't until this past May that I received a letter from them indicating that they decided not to hire anyone for the announcement. So people very well may be informed, but it might take months for that to happen.
 
hey guys,
i have a friend that went through this whole process, and is currently training to get checked out at his airport. he told me that OKC is full until december, so i'm hoping that i get an interview around that time...i'm going to hopefully see him this weekend so i'll ask him more questions.
