I think it was good karma -- immediately after writing that, which included me saying

, I opened up ASAP and BOOM -- approval to take the AT-SAT. Woo hoo!

Anyway, don't be afraid to ask any clarifying questions. The gears of the FAA grind slowly, and people in the PUBNATs before you know the frustration of playing the waiting game... answering them gives us something to do. Good luck!
 
I don't mean to sound discouraging. But I applied on the pubnat1 2/08 and I didn't go to a PEPC until 7/24/08 and I wasn't even told that I had been on the reference list until late May or early June. Hopefully the process speeds up as this begins to roll. I am now in a holding pattern from my FOL.

It's actually slowing down because of all these new announcements opening up :panic:
 
I know that there is about a 6 week wait or so to hear about taking the AT-SAT and my buddy that is in OKC told me they are trying to get the waiting time to about 6weeks from the time you take the AT-SAT to the time your are training in OKC.

That is just what I have been seeing with my friends. I know that it probably won't happen anytime soon but that is what their eventual goal is. Just passing on what I was told.

Nope i'm looking for ONT. Maybe ZLA, i'm really just trying to get my foot in the door.

But i would love ONT, or CNO, or LGB, or SNA. Hahaha
