I didn't go through the PEPC process. I recieved my AT-SAT score in January, got notice to interview in March, interviewed at my facillity in April, took my tests(drug, psyc, ect) in May, got a phone call from HR, on June 20, to report to OKC starting July 14. But ive also heard it goes faster. Hope that helps.
Yes it does. Even if time is off, it gives me an idea of the process. I don't start terminal leave till Oct 5th anyways, so I'm hoping I can be at the academy while still pulling in terminal pay.
AF = 3K/mo
OKC = 3.5K/mo

Don't forget the money you receive from the MGIB and the sign on bonus. It actually probably will look something more like this :nana2::rawk:anic:
Dude we get a $20,000 sign on bonus. Hello? where have you been? But it is a two year commitment so don't wash or you will be sorry.
The 20k bonus is for VRA, or people with existing CTO tickets I believe. Does not apply to OTS or CTI!
Thank you for responding to our inquiry regarding an interview for the air traffic control specialist position with the FAA.
You will be contacted within the next few weeks to schedule your interview at the Seattle Tacoma International ATCT (SEA).
The interview will take approximately one hour. You must be recommended as a result of the interview before any further processing takes place. Once you have been successful, you will receive a tentative offer letter from the Aviation Careers Division. This letter will include instructions and forms for obtaining your medical and security clearances and completing your pre-employment processing.
All questions dealing with salary, benefits, facility placement, class dates, forms and form completion should be directed to the Aviation Careers Division. That same office will track the completion of your paperwork and, if the results are positive, they will make you a firm offer.
Good luck in the interview process.

Sweet! Just got this a few minutes ago.
Why on earth would you want to go the non-PEPC route?
Why on earth would you want to go the non-PEPC route?
Drive to memphis, $200(gas) + hotel $50 = $250
Flight to memphis, $300 + hotel $50 = $350
non-PEPC route = priceless (well, you get the idea)
... and not really in a hurry
bingoyou should be in a hurry. everyone that gets hired before you is securely ahead of your ass in seniority for the rest of your career.
