For those of you who interviewed on June 10th/11th/12th, have you heard anything? If you are not offered the job, how long does it take from the time of the interview to get the "letter" in the mail?
I interviewed on the 11th, haven't heard anything and not expecting to anymore. A few people who interviewed the same day as I did got rejection letters in the mail. It's been 9 days already. They had said 7-10 days. I'll probably get a rejection letter in the mail tomorrow. For those of you who interviewed on June 10th/11th/12th, have you heard anything? Ditto...My friend got a rejection letter today. He interviewed with 1300/180 give or take.
Either he blew the interview, or they are getting picky. But with how volatile this industry is, I would be surprised to be put into a class date in August this far out and actually expect to get it.

True...I was surprised they rejected some of the higher-time applicants yet I got a job offer (before we sank into the ocean) at much lower-times than average.Airlines are really strange in their hiring practices.....it seems as though total flight time/quals doesn't matter.
Don't take it personally, its just the nature of our industry. Most of these companies will be hiring up until the day of furlough. I agree its an ignorant practice but most of the people that do the hiring have absolutely no clue what upper managements plans are.one week, i was told, yea we're hiring, come apply.... so 2 weeks later i went to apply, and got "sorry, we'll be furloughing people, no new pilots"
thanks comair
It's time's like these that I wish I had all of the ratings I want. Than i''d probably get furloughed.
