You'll still have to choose two states later on in the process... after AT-SAT and before the referrals...

Those choices won't count for anything, won't even be looked at. The only ones they will look at are the ones selected later on.

I was contacted today via email for the Memphis PEPC on July 21th-25th. Here is a portion of the email:


Congratulations. You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the Albuquerque ARTCC in Albuquerque, NM.

I am a Feb. applicant OTS.

Just got my email to interview for the ZFW location. It's been a long year of waiting since starting to apply in 4/07 but maybe my time has finally come. Now lets just see if I can get into the Memphis PEPC or not.
 
I am going to go out on a limb here and it looks like my email and the other guys' email are for enroute (artcc). Possibly they're doing ARTCC first, then tower later? Just a thought.
 
I think I'm going to throw up.

I have everything riding on getting this job- don't know what I'll do if I don't.

And I'm going out of town tomorrow and won't have access to email for four days- and that's going to drive me crazy!!!!

I have heard that the first few days at a PEPC are for ARTCC candidates only. I'm guessing they are giving the same first priority when notifying us of selection.

I'm going for terminal (ATCT) only so I expect us tower peeps will hear later. No worries (yet) :o

Dont call CONNIE!!! i just spoke with her and i feel bad because she is probably gonna get 100 phone calls. i just called her and the emails that are going out today are ONLY for en route....email for terminal WILL BE GOING OUT TOMORROW.... so just in case everyone wanted to ask that question i already did. hope we all get our #1 choices.

Hopefully I can get into the Chicago PEPC August 11-15! Approximately one year and a week after my first application, I was recently beginning to look elsewhere for a career!
