From what I hear, we should hopefully find out through ASAP if we are going to be on the referral lists for the Feb announcement sometime between now and June10th before the panels meet. If your ASAP page says anything other than No Referral lists have been created.... please post here.
 
I am not on a referral list yet, but everyone SHOULD be notified once the referral lists are made and whether your name is on it.

For example, here is the Referral List Status on ASAP from an earlier application that lists ALL of the referral lists for that announcement AND indicates that "Your application was not included at this time. Please continue to check back for status updates." for those states that you were not referred to. I assume it will be the same for PUBNAT1, but you never know.


"Referral list FA-AAC-08-10480: Issued on 01/27/2008 for the Throughout Illinois duty location at the AT-AG grade/payband.
A list of the most qualified applicants has been sent to the office with announcement # AAC-AMH-08-CTO-07956. Your application was not included at this time. Please continue to check back for status updates."
 
This is why it is to your benefit to apply for all of the announcements, so in case you are not referred or selected under the first announcement, your application may be considered again under the next announcement that you applied for.

Get lucky as in "Get Lucky?", or as in on the referral list...Hmmmm:drool:

Just got the news myself. Good luck to every FEBOT! We've been waiting for this a long time.
 
I made it as well. Does everyone's say Throughout the Nation or does it mention your geographic preferences?
 
I made it as well, though I also got the "nation" one, instead of the locations I put down. All well! I'll pretty much go wherever anyhow :) I imagine the more specific ones will come down from the reviews they're going to have next week.

Yeah I'm sure the only panels viewing your application will be based on your geo preferences, but I wanted to make sure my preferences were received and that I wasn't just being made available to the entire nation. Since the application called for everyone to select "Throughout the Nation" it doesn't really surprise me that they are creating referral lists for the entire nation.

Mine says just througout the nation I hope they are taking my geoprefrences into consideration I put down Indiana only. Congrats to everyone on the referral list now we get to wait somemore. I've been in process for over 1.5yrs so I hope this annoucment moves a little quicker. :nana2:
