Alright, the quality is there. Now how about quantity -- how many hours in each!

I actually like both of those layovers!!! I have both of them in June as well. The Hampton in BTV is a "comfortable" place to stay and in GSO we're near a ton of food...(little victories)
 
All I have to say is: Flint Michigan, Detroit, Madiscon Wisc, South Bend, White Plains....I could name some more if you like:banghead:
 
kinda funny this morning I got called in to do the Detroit tigers trip...guess were I get to spend the night for 3 days in a row:panic:

BTV is quite nice (summer only). GSO had TONS of food by the hotel, and I think WED was "guest appreciation" with catered wings, appetizers and beer.

PBI - I think that's where the Icebox (?) is. Nice dive bar. Not much else.

Ottowa in the summer was the schiz. If you walk up the hill, you'll see a fort that still has cannons pointed at the french side. :rawk: The cannons seem in pretty good shape for "relics" ;)

Well, Polar, I'm a virgin to both cities so I'm happy to hear that maybe these overnights won't be so bad after all! Hopefully our hotels are close to everything you speak of AND I actually get in early enough to enjoy some of it! Wish me luck....:)

LOL Im doing both of them too...on the PBI overnight now (20 hours) and just got back from the beach....man I wish I would have brought my camera. I dont hold high hopes for Ottawa tho....

I've actually heard very good things about the Ottawa layover!! I've heard the hotel is in a great location and some cool stuff to see... (Now, if I can just remember to get the Ottawa plates in my Jepp binders)
 
You guys have nothing on the lost weekend overnight at AE. 36hr's at MQT Marquette, Michigan.

You'll like Ottowa. If it's still the Quality downtown, there's about everything you can walk to. A mall, the capital area, a bunch of restaurants and Canadian Beers.

What sucks is its an 11 hour overnight. Not enough time to "explore" if you will. Now the next night is a 23hr BOS overnight....so if anyone is in BOS this Saturday and wants to meet up, im all for it! lol
