If anyone can help me find a flying job in the Arkansas area, I would greatly appreciate it. I am trying to find something besides flight instruction in the area. I have 2100TT 50multi. Thanks.
 
Dont know if you are interested, but I think I saw some talk on here about Flight Express having a hard time keeping a pilot on the LIT-CPS run. Good luck finding something.

What part of Arkansas? I'm from Arkansas, living in New Orleans now.

I just wanna be within a 3 hours drive of Bentonville, AR. I would be happy with Oklahoma or Missouri if I could drive to Bentonville. Trying to move closer to my fiance. And there is nothing wrong with 210s, but I was hoping to get into something with 2 engines. I think I have enough single engine time.
 
That's exactly what I said when I went to Flight Express, then ended up waiting to upgrade because I was so comfortable with the 210, the routes, and the base (hmmmm.... come to think of it, that seems to be a pattern in my life).

Anyhow, if a drive to Malvern is within your limits, it's fire season. Perhaps you should talk to Forestry? I built time flying fire patrol for Arkansas Forestry and loved every hot, bumpy minute. I think they have mostly single engine aircraft, but they have a couple of twin commanders, too. Anyhow, I don't know if they're currently hiring, but it's worth checking out.

I live near Bentonville and haven't heard of any multi-engine opportunities in the area. If I hear of something i'll drop you a PM though. It's a long drive from here to LIT. It's closer to Tulsa / Joplin / Branson / Springfield.

I guess Island Air just started EAS flying from MCI to JLN, HRO, HOTin a Dash 8. Maybe you could get on with them and just live in one of the outstations?
 
Thank you all. I'm going to look into Island Air. I don't know about fire patrol though. I am doing pipeline patrol now and i'm trying to get away from hot and bumpy LOL. I'm open to coporate flying, so if you know anyone looking for F/Os or Baron pilots or somthing like that PM me please.
 
I'm actually looking for some pipeline work. Im a controller at the airbase and I asked one of the aircraft coming through our Delta if they were hiring. tlove was that you? Anyhow, Im still active duty but my schedule allows for a lot of time off. Can you point me in a direction if pipeline is hiring? Thanks.
 
Unfortunately, @Daniel Roe, the previous message in this thread was posted almost eight years ago, so it's doubtful the OP has recent info for you. ;) (Paging anyone involved in pipeline patrol? If drones haven't just taken over that work, or something?)

That wasn't me. I finally got of pipeline patrolling in 2009. Barr posted that they were hiring recently. Hope that helps.
