IOE complete

Ah the end is in sight..... We need that for sure until movement happens. Thank goodness all the LOA's went way way SENIOR!
 
Yeah I hear ya! Hopefully the LOA's will cover the overages until we thin out a little. I heard from the check airmen in the sim that this has went down like this in the past and worked out ok. Who knows we will have to wait and see!

Have you been flying at all or are you still sitting around? They got me right into IOE. So it appears they are no more backups. I had a 4 day schedule within 4 hours of completing my LOFT. Oh and by the way thanks for the advise on the phone when we talked a while back when I was in ground. It really helped me allot to keep from going nuts. Everything went great up untill sim 8 when my partner got the axe. He just couldn't figure out how to handle the aircraft. It really messed me up losing him just before the PC. I am glad it is all over now! I tell you what, atitude is everything in training:):)

Good deal man sounds like things are going great. Yeah back in 2005 we did have these as well. Way too FAT on FO's but that was bound to happen. So far things are great though. I've been doing a lot of sitting but next month I'll have a build up line. I'd have a hard line if it werent for how we did IOE's here. Basically we have 43 lines, i'm 38 but when you lose 9 due to IOE it becomes 34. Actually DAY didnt have one single FO get a LOA. Funny how that happens.

Your partner got the axe on sim 8 huh? That's very weird.... dunno, I havent heard of them dragging it out that long. A waste of company money to have them get that far and then axe em. But I'm guessing there are reasons that you could see and I would never ask you to post as to why it happened.
 
So far I have been happy that crew scheduling has been letting me sit reserve in CLT instead of TYS. It's strange Meyers because there are guys in my class that sit and sit and sit with no flying out of TYS and DAY. And they are all worried about getting the 100 hours.

Scheduling knows where they are. They will fly them before that happens. But its the fact that really we have entirely too many FO's and well flying will probably be limited. I mean I'm 38in Dayton and there are nearly 70-80 below me which is a lot for PSA.
