There are going to be at least 15, if not more, JC members that are going to be based in EWR in the great state of NEW JERSEY.

MY HOME STATE.

Remember FlyChicaga traded INTO EWR.

If you count those based in JFK (which is about 10 miles from where part of my family is from), I have to say everyone wants to be around my 'environment' to pick up my personality. Doug can bid a Captain slot, but he is not because he loves my environment so much.

:)

You are wrong!!! I'm on the afternoon shift this week, so don't have to show until 1245.:nana2::nana2:

i'd say there are probably a few more than 15 of us based in EWR. and yes, i also bid newark (XJT CA) by choice.

haha, thats what you think. ring ring. this is screw scheduling, we changed your schedule yesterday. didn't anyone tell u? ohhhh, we are soooooo sorry

HA! Nice try...but that didn't happen....It happened once off of training when they activated reserve when I was supposed to be heading home, but that will probably NEVER happen again. You know the saying, "Fool me once--shame on you--fool me twice--shame on ME!
BTW, they actually helped me out in order for me to attend a relative's funeral tonight and let someone take my PIT turn. Sometimes, it all works out!

+1 at the end of June (theoretically).

+1 once I finish training....;)

I had what I believe was my last flight in the Beech a few days ago, I already miss it. They keep pushing back our ACARS class so I've just been sitting at home growing a beard. I'll be going to Toronto for training, that works out perfect. :)

You learn to appreciate NJ more when you leave.

Not me! I learn to appreciate Utah more when I'm in Jersey, and then I come back to Utah and I find I appreciate it even MORE after spending anywhere from 4-8 days in Elizabeth, NJ!

I would appreciate Utah more if I lived in Elizabeth. If you head out on 78 towards Western Jersey, down south towards the shore (that's the beach for all you non-Jerseyans), or up north towards Sussex County, Jersey gets to be a nice place. Check out some of the bars along the waterfront in Hoboken and Jersey City. They're the perfect place to grab a drink in the summer and get a cool view of the Manhattan Skyline. The only problem with Jersey, and much of the reason I left was the incredibly high cost of living.

Yeah but Jersey doesn't have:

-Epic skiing

-Polygamy Porter

-Emily

-All my stuff

-Emily

-Great mountain biking

-Great hiking

-Emily

-10 AMAZING ski resorts, and I mean 3,000'+ of vertical and 500" of annual snowfall a year, not whatever ya'll ski on in Jersey.

-Emily

-Not Mark

Is that enough for you? :)
