WOW!
These people work for the wages offered to them. If they don't like it, they leave. Last I checked, it's still well obove federal minimum wage. If they were to offer us a raise, I'd gladly accept it, but until then, I do my job.
Please elaborate. This has no basis.
Once again, please elaborate. We have better A14's, lower MBR's, better OTD's and in the past few years, our customer satisfaction has actually gone up, whereas most majors keeps going down. We do this all for a better monetary value than mainline or another regional can do for themselves.
As for not treating people like people, you have no basis for that. People are explained the wages before they sign any paperwork. We are given attendance bonuses, they have drawings sports tickets 1 to 2 times a month (free). They occasionally throw catered BBQ's for no reason.
Last year they gave away a Scion xB.
Three months ago, we had a staion meeting and had they gave away lots of cool prizes. One guy won an all expence paid trip to Israel, and it came with 2 weeks free paid vacation; the guy who won was a gate agent working for the company 5 days. And I don't know about where you work, but in my airport, Mesa has the most comprehensive flight benefits package offered, period. I fly free or ID90 on airlines other guys dream of.
This statement truly shows your character. Don't hate the player, hate the game! And who, pray tell, decides which regionals "deserve" any particular route? Certainly not you.
Routes are earned. Airlines bid, one regional does it better for less, if they deliver what they promised, their contract gets renewed. And the cycle goes on. Mesa rightfully deserves all it's current routes. If your regional can do it better for less, then it they would be doing it. Last time I checked, Mainline didn't just give us extra money for the hell of it. Yet no one complains at the Mainline Carrier for going with the lowest bid.
