Im in the richmond location. We feel for ya in regards to the plane department. Not so much as in the seminole, but for the private pilot guys. We lost one due to a "forced" landing, leaving us with 2 I believe(3rd day in the ppl program). One of them was stuck in atlanta for a few days(crappy weather) and the other one just came out of maitenence. I believe both are out for some students solo xc today.
The atp citation was up here yesterday, with phil. Picked up 3 of our students, one out for their ride, and sending 2 of the ppl guys down to jacksonville to do some time building. Supposedly, the rumor is that they will be flying back 2 cessna's. I heard somewhere we might have 5 in the next week or so. Which would be great for me, plus the other 14 students who need access to them. Add in the weather, and the demand, I wonder if I will get my 85 hrs in 60 days. Staff here are gr8 btw. Just got a new cfi yesterday, Kevin(apparently his nickname is AK for those who know him). He is starting off the get go, so im pretty happy that we got a good one for us privates.
Anyways, back the airport to do some more groundschool( glad we are actually getting some).
