i wanted to know is regional jet airline training program only for ATP students or people from outside can sign up for this program and if they can what is the reqirement in order to enroll in the program.

for outsiders the prerequisite is a $6000 check made out to ATP.

Don't take the course. You can do better things with that money.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you have 6 G's burning a hole in your pocket, why not go buy a 737 type? The RJ course is a joke. You don't even get a real type rating out of it, however you pay just as much as you would for a 737 type.
 
I agree to pay the 'extra' $6000 is not worth it. For students about to attend ATP, it is stated to be included in the ACPP. So why not take advantage of it? You'll see many comments saying you could spend your time better. It is one more thing you can say you have experienced. Remember, a good pilot is always learning.

Well obviously if its included, take it. But for $6k, are you smokin' crack?

I wonder why ATP doesnt just start doing CL-600 type ratings. Instead of buying a bunch of CRJ FTD's, just buy 1 level D sim and start doing some real training.
